 Camp Invention

It is that time of year to start signing up for Camp Invention! The new curriculum is amazing and your child is sure to enjoy it! In the Fast Forward curriculum this summer, your child will become a robotic pet vet using tools, circuitry, biology and physiology to take apart and diagnose puppy problems, dream up and design their very own futuristic smart home, launch into the future with their very own Optibot– a small self-driving bot that senses change in light, and use collaboration, discovery and invention prototyping to solve real world issues!

Please visit campinvention.org for more information.

Take advantage of early sign up discounts and get registered today! Our most recent flyer can be found to the right of this page.

Why STEM?

According to the U. S. Department of Commerce, STEM occupations are growing at 17%, while other occupations are growing at 9.8%. STEM degree holders have a higher income even in non-STEM careers. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics workers play a key role in the sustained growth and stability of the U.S. economy, and are a critical component to helping the U.S. win the future. STEM education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators. Innovation leads to new products and processes that sustain our economy.
