Welcome to Mrs. McField's School Counseling Website!!

This is my 4th year at SyCamore Elementary School and I am the school counselor serving 3^rd through 5^th grades. I attained my bachelor, master, and educational specialist degrees from Tennessee Technological University. I love spending time with my family, friends, playing sports, fishing, and working with children. I’ve been counseling over 15 years and look forward to making a positive impact on student’s lives.

This year, one of my main goals in the school counseling program is to generate a sense of belonging, support, acceptance and assistance for my students, community, and faculty. I'm excited to have the opportunity to get to know and assist your child(ren) with his/her academic, personal, career and social needs. During this time, I realize that students are undergoing many changes in their lives. I am looking forward to helping them with these changes by offering my assistance through classroom counseling, small groups, and individual counseling.
