Thank you for visiting my page. I am one of two music teachers here at SyCamore Elementary School. I've been here since the school opened in 2000. I love teaching music and sharing my love for music with the students at our wonderful school. Music makes our world a much happier place to live! We teach our students to appreciate all kinds of music, from all walks of the earth. Through singing, moving, playing instruments, and listening to music from other cultures, our students learn to appreciate all that music has to offer. In Music, we Sing, Say, Dance, and Play, in a Tuneful, Beatful, and Artful way!

Welcome to Music!

As our school year begins, we would like to welcome you and your family into the music community here at SyCamore! We, as music specialists, believe it is our job to offer our students the opportunity to experience the wonders of music and to explore and discover the many special gifts music has to offer!

This year, the Music conduct grades (E, S, N) will be given according to our SyCamore R.O.A.R. Expectations. SyCamore students are:

RESPONSIBLE - Follow directions and make good choices, bring recorder and music folder to class, do your own work.

ORGANIZED - Keep your music neat and in order, put instruments and materials away properly and neatly, wait for your turn.

ACCOUNTABLE - Do what is expected, practice your songs.

RESPECTFUL - Use good manners, treat others with kindness, be a good listener, take care of instruments and materials that belong to the school and others.
